Board Gaming this week 🎲

Fancy playing some board games, meeting new people and getting involved with your local gaming community? 🤔

There are THREE regular not-for-profit community board game nights taking place each week that we highly recommend and new players are always welcome 🤝

Preston's Gamer's Guild
📅 Every Tuesday
⏰ 6:30pm – 10pm
📍 Plungington Community Centre, Brook Street, Preston, PR1 7NB
💷 First visit FREE, then £3 per week / £2 children (ages 12+)

Thornton Cleveleys Board Games Club
📅 Every Thursday
⏰ 7pm – 10pm
📍 1st Thornton Cleveleys Scout Hut, Marsh Road, Thornton Cleveleys, FY5 2TY
💷 First visit FREE, then £3 per week / £1 children (ages 10+ accompanied and supervised by an adult)
☕ Refreshments included

📅 Every Friday
⏰ 7pm – 10pm
📍 St David's Church, Larkholme Lane, Fleetwood
💷 £3 per week / £1 for ages 11–17 (accompanied by a responsible adult)

Whether you're a complete beginner, haven't played since you were younger or you're an experienced tabletop gamer, there's something for everyone 👍

You don't even need to own any games. Just turn up, grab a seat and get involved ❤️

A new episode of the Comic Con Community Podcast is now available 🎙️

In this episode, Will has a chat with Tim Roberts from Critical Kit Ltd – creators and publishers of role-playing games 🎲

Tim tells us all about Critical Kit and the games he's developed over the seven years he's been running it, including Be Like a Crow, Be Like a Cat, All Night Breakfast at the Midnight Owl, Punk Is Dead and plenty more 🙌

As well as creating his own games, Tim also helps bring other people's ideas to life by publishing games from other creators ❤️

One of the really interesting things about Critical Kit's games is how they encourage you to get creative while you play 🫶

Be Like a Crow and Be Like a Cat incorporate journaling, Punk Is Dead gets you writing a song and All Night Breakfast even gives you the option of creating your own podcast to document your progress through the game ✍️
