Introducing Elastic Band!

Can you play four or more notes on your instrument? Are you in Key Stage 2 upwards (7-11)? Then Elastic Band could be the perfect next step in your musical journey!

Join other beginner musicians in a fun, welcoming, and supportive group where you'll: Make music together, Explore sounds and instruments, Create your own compositions, Build confidence at your own pace, Enjoy musical games and teamwork.

Every player receives a part tailored to their experience and ability, so everyone can take part and succeed. Best of all, there's no pressure to perform. Just come along, have fun, and discover the joy of making music with others.

Launching in Blandford after the October half-term, £30 per term (8 sessions). Financial support available for children receiving Pupil Premium.

Amazing opportunity -

Do you know a young person in year 12 or 13 who is an aspiring doctor and interested in studying medicine?

Applications are open for our popular Introduction to Medicine Programme where participants gain first-hand insight into life as a doctor. They will:

🔹 develop their clinical skills and patient observations
🔹 take part in simulation lab activities
🔹 learn from consultants and clinicians
🔹 receive guidance on medical school applications
🔹 explore careers in medicine and the NHS

The programme takes place from 26 to 28 October 2026 at Dorset County Hospital.

There is a £60 programme fee (free for students eligible for Free School Meals).

This programme attracts significant interest each year and places are limited. A link to the application form is in the comments.
