Hi Everyone.
Following our appeal for volunteers in December we regret that despite several kind offers of help, the Orchard Group has insufficient committee members to continue. In accordance with our Constitution we wish to give notice of a Special Meeting.
The main purpose of the meeting is to consider and vote on a resolution to close down the Orchard Group. There will also be a talk from the Chairman and Treasurer.
You are welcome to join the meeting and comment if you wish, however the vote is for Committee Members only.
Please, see the following Poster for details.
Many Thanks.

Hi Everyone.
I just wanted to offer a small explanation for the flyer that I am going to post next.
As a Committee we have reached a point where without new active volunteers, the organisation of future events in our lovely, heritage Orchard will prove untenable. Those of us that remain still believe in the original ethos behind the establishment of the Park Farm Community Orchard Group but recognise the urgent need for new committee members with fresh ideas.
Please, take a look at the following Poster.

Regrettably, the Cherry Orchard committee have decided to cancel tomorrow's Halloween Event in the Orchard. This follows much debate about the very uncertain and unsettled forecast over the next 36 hours and the likelihood of rain during the actual event alongside Met Amber Rain/wind warnings.
Worst case scenario could make the Orchard ground very boggy for car parking, make the use of electrics unsafe and, should the wind speed up, jeopardise the stability of the marquees and gazebos.
We are all very disappointed that this event isn't going ahead but have to err on the side of caution, especially with children running around in the dark.
Please, accept our apologies.
