Our Christmas exploits have made the Daily Echo

The New Forest Mummers have raised more than £2,000 for Minstead Trust with their traditional Christmas play.

Last night we handed over all our fundraising efforts from our yuletide festivities to the Minstead Trust - and what an impressive figure it was too. A huge thank you to all the fantastic landlords and their generous patrons who made this amount possible!

We had the pleasure of handing over the cheque to Minstead Trust tonight and took the opportunity to celebrate a successful Mumming season with a lovely meal at a New Forest pub!

Our final figure is in. Thanks to the generousity of the patrons at the numerous establishments we visited (and their wonderful landlords/managers who allowed us in!) over the festival period we raised a very impressive £2325 for the Minstead Trust. Thank you to everyone who made this amazing amount possible!

The Mummers bid adieu as we perform for the final time this season. Thank you to all the lovely venues, landlords and patrons who allowed us to perform and gave so generously! Can't wait to find out our final total for the Minstead Trust and hope to announce it soon.
