This is open to everyone: Skateboard GB coaches are coming to the Ravenbank Summer Fair – and they’re bringing boards, helmets, and tons of fun!

It’s the perfect chance for kids to try skateboarding in a safe, friendly environment. Skateboarding helps children build confidence, resilience, balance, coordination – and it gets them off the PlayStation and into the fresh air!

What’s happening:
• Skateboard GB Coaches on hand
• Open Skate Sessions
• Beginner-Friendly Coaching
• Live Skateboard Demos
• Earn official ‘Cruiser’ or ‘Get Rolling’ Badges

Exciting Developments at Lymm Skatepark Charity!

On Friday, 28th February, we had a great visit from Angus Lord (Environmental Manager, Warrington Borough Council) and Simon Twigg (Tree & Woodland Conservation Officer, Warrington Borough Council) at Lymm Skatepark. They came down to assess the site and offer expert advice on the next stage of improvements. A huge thanks to them for their support and guidance!

Our very own Iain Gurney (Lymm Skatepark Charity) was also on hand to discuss plans, and we’re making exciting progress. Stay tuned for further developments—we’ve got a BIG announcement coming soon! 👀

If you care about supporting the kids of Lymm and their dream of an upgraded skate park at Ridgway Grundy, we need you! Join us for a short but meaningful walk from Brookfield road through the village as part of the Dickensian Day Parade at 1:30pm Your presence will make a big difference, especially since many of the children are already walking with their schools. Let’s show the community how much this matters—it’s a small effort for a huge impact. Don’t let the kids down—walk with us!

Hi Everyone, Help needed!! We are a Lymm kids charity and we need YOU to help us make a difference!

On Dickensian Day - Saturday, 14th December, join the Lymm Skatepark Charity for a short walk in the Grand Parade during Dickensian Day.
Some of our members are already walking with their schools, so we need more people to step up and boost the numbers to show just how important this cause is, young or old we will take anyone!
When: Assemble at 1:00 pm - (Parade Starts at 1:30pm)
Where: Junction of Brookfield Road and Dane Bank Road (near Brookfield Surgery and Lymm United Reformed Church)
It doesn’t matter if you can skate, scoot, BMX, we just need you to just walk, roll or hobble there.

This is about the community getting together and supporting a free, upgraded skatepark and basketball court for our local young people in Ridgway Grundy Park.

Just a few minutes of your time will help us make a big statement for our community!
