Calling all pirates! Join us in the beautiful Oakhaven's beautiful gardens for our Family Fun Day on Saturday 27th June from 12-4pm for an afternoon of fun and entertainment.

Yo ho ho! There is something for all ages! Dress as a pirate if you choose, enjoy the bubble show and pirate games, browse the fabulous stalls and jig in time to the Sea Shanty singers! Everyone is welcome at our fundraising fun day and there will be something for everyone.

There will be pizza, plenty of snacks, a fizz tent, a traditional tearoom, a sweet stall and ice creams - plus much more.

Entrance: £2 per adult, £1 per child (children under 2 free)
12pm - 4pm - come for lunch!

We are delighted to announce that Sway Open Gardens 2026 raised a wonderful £16,784 for Oakhaven Hospice!

Thank you to everyone who supported Sway Open Gardens this year. We would like to sincerely thank the Sway Gardening Club for organising the event in support of the Hospice. Their dedication and countless hours behind the scenes made the event truly special.

Thank you also to all the local businesses, drivers, performers, garden owners and everyone who attended, donors of plants, cakes and raffle prizes, entertainers and the many, many volunteers who all came together to make this event such a fun, memorable and successful day - we are hugely grateful. Sway residents, you should be proud of yourselves!

Please note that there will be no Dementia Support Group on Wednesday 25th June due to the room being unavailable. This support session will return to normal the following week.

The Dementia Support Group, led by Bonhomie, will return on Wednesday 2nd July at the Coates Centre, from 10.30am to 12pm.

If you and your loved one are affected by a dementia diagnosis, you are both welcome to come along to this relaxed and friendly group. Enjoy cake and a cup of tea or coffee, share information, support each other and make new friendships.
