If you use heating oil and are struggling to pay because prices have gone up, you may be able to get help from the Gloucestershire County Council Crisis and Resilience Fund.

You can apply if the following apply to you:
- You live full time in Gloucestershire
- Heating oil is the main way of heating your home
- You are struggling to afford heating oil
- You have 150 litres or less of heating oil remaining, with priority given to households under 100 litres
- You are at immediate risk of being unable to heat your home or access hot water
- You are in receipt of Universal Credit or Pension Credit OR you do not receive benefits but can evidence that you cannot afford the minimum amount required for a delivery
- You have less than £1,000 in savings when you apply

✔️ When you apply, you'll need to submit some documents. These include a past heating bill, current quote for 500 litres of heating oil, proof of current oil levels (such as a dated photo of the tank gauge) and a bank statement.

❗ Please note, this support will not cover the full cost of the delivery but will help with the increased costs.

You can apply online through the Crisis and Resilience Fund application form: https://familyhubs.gloucestershire.gov.uk/crisis-resilience-home

If you need help filling in the form, please contact Gloucestershire County Council at this email address: [email protected]. They will be happy to support you.
