We don't have a talk in June as we have our annual trip out instead but we look forward to seeing you in July for our talk which is something we all need to think about in these changing times.

And our Flower of the Month competition was won by our Chair, Mellie Lewis, with her unusual lily.

Sadly we only had four entries this month so do consider joining in in July when we have our next talk on 22nd which will be all about self sufficiency.

Great talk to a fascinated audience by Matt Wright who shared his absolute passion and knowledge about bonsai. Amazing to learn more about the history of how it all started and to know more about how to create a bonsai. Thank you Matt. As I said to you at the end, I have never known our audience to have so many questions.

Four Committee members spent a few hours at the What's on in Clun and Chapel Lawn event yesterday afternoon at the Memorial Hall in Clun encouraging people to join our Club. We hope we were successful. Time will tell.

Come and see us on our stand at the Memorial Hall event today from 2 - 4 pm. Lots of local clubs there including the Garden Club to show how much is going on in Clun and Chapel Lawn.
