For now, we're back in the Music Ark. Missing the propagation space... But still dancing. The Farm Ark is now back on the drawing board ready for a fine toothed comb before the rebuild. A big thank you to Minor Homes for joining us in our mission.

After the devastating loss of the Farm Ark, our home and all the wonders that she carried... We have some news:

WE DID IT!!!!

I am blown away to be writing this... With our Crowdfunder campaign and the amazing support of family and friends we have managed to secure funding to rebuild another Farm Ark!!!

What is most important to us now is that we open-source the design, streamline the materials, the procurement, the adherence to building regulations, the build base, and the overall accessibility of this landmark live-work unit. Oh, and of course this time we're going to make it f***ing fireproof. We know it can be done, and we know it is gorgeous to live in, we know that it does what it's supposed to do, so now the question is how to make it accessible to as many people as possible. The building team has regathered with all of their experience from the first build, and the added input of a number of architects and design engineers. We are currently surveying potential build-base sites, materials and parts manufacturers.

We just want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported us on this new leg of our journey. Like the phoenix we shall rise with a better, stronger, cheaper, more durable and more accessible Farm Ark than we could ever have imagined.

A big thank you to Rich, Dan and Minnie (The miniature dashund) and their Dodge Ram for diligently and safely moving the farm arks North. We're now set for a winter of tree work, off grid systems creation and land trust legal structuring.

A little tree seed saving and drying going down in the farm ark. The rainwater system is coming along with beautiful bespoke tanks from Jay Wolfe stainless steel fabrication. Next up it's packing up to move to a winter workshop to finish the kitchen and soil lab woodwork.

The house is finished! Now to begin the process of making it farmhouse and a home. A huge thank you to all the amazing people that helped pull it together.

Over the coming two months we'll be fitting the interior with everything it takes to live and run an off grid farm. Propagation, curing, storing, seed saving, microbiology lab, food processing, dehydration, incubators and tool unit.
