It was a pleasure to welcome Charlotte & Sharon, trustees from Stevenage Community Trust, to our Stevenage Dementia Group recently.

Thank you for your generous donation, which has enabled us to buy much-needed shiny new musical instruments for our Stevenage music groups. We're proud to display some of them here. Chimes & Metallophones are vital for our work.

It was wonderful to take part in the Hoddesdon Library Wellbeing event on Friday. Thanks for having us!

We spoke with other organisations, sharing their community work and with many members of the public, giving them details of our Dementia music group in Cheshunt, not far away.

A big thank you to everyone at the OPALS (Older Persons Activity, Learning & Safety) event in Hitchin on Friday, especially Terry Morris.

It was great to talk to many local organisations doing great work and share the details of our local singing cafés and dementia services.

The OPALS event aims to provide information, advice and help that is available within the local community on a wide range of services to reduce vulnerability and loneliness and provide reassurance and wellbeing support.

Looking forward to the next one!

Come along to this free drop-in event at Stevenage Arts & Leisure Centre this Thursday, 1st October, 10:30am - 2pm; there'll be lots of useful information, and we'll be there sharing details of all our local music sessions ☕🎶

Join us at Stevenage Leisure Centre sports hall on Thursday 1 October between 10:30am and 2pm to celebrate our older community members in at the International Day of Older Persons (IDOP).

This free event is a great opportunity for older Stevenage residents to explore local services, get advice, and enjoy fun activities. Come along to meet local charities and partner organisations, who will be on hand to offer support and information. This is a drop in event with no need to book.
