Speak Life Into Yourself

It was once said, “The power of the tongue is real. Stop saying you’re tired all the time, that you’re broke, or that you’re depressed. Start saying you’re grateful. Start speaking life into yourself.”

When we constantly repeat negative thoughts, we reinforce those states and begin conditioning our minds to remain in a cycle of negativity.

This is not about denying reality. It is about recognising that words carry great power. The words we speak can either drain our energy or elevate our spirit.

Be mindful of the words you speak to yourself about yourself, “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.” Proverbs 23:7 (KJV)

What we consistently say, both aloud and in our minds, deeply influences our mindset, emotions, and circumstances. Words are seeds; plant good ones in the garden of your life.

Be inspired and self-aware as you go through your day and the weekend ahead.

Being Overwhelmed

Sometimes, it’s hard not to feel
overwhelmed by life's demands. But remember:

‘When you are overwhelmed, tired, or stressed, the solution is almost always less. Get rid of something. Lots of somethings.’ THE MIND JOURNAL

Being overwhelmed is like trying to carry too many shopping bags through a narrow doorway; something will drop, and you will likely get stuck. The answer is not to push harder, but to pause, lighten the load, and walk through with intention. Because, sometimes;

‘It’s not the load that breaks you, it’s the way you carry it.’ LOU HOLTZ

Anxiety often arises when you believe everything must be figured out or done all at once. Then it steals your peace, focus and happiness, leaving you feeling tired, exhausted and stuck.

When you are feeling overwhelmed, or juggling too much, choose to pause, keep it simple, and prioritise what truly matters. Not everything or everyone deserves a space in your mind or life.

Feeling Overwhelmed? Find stillness and engage in self reflection, and self care.
