This April, Machins Solicitors is offering Will-writing services in exchange for a donation to Age Concern Luton helping to support older people in our community.

Having a Will gives peace of mind, ensuring your wishes are followed and loved ones are provided for. Whilst a Will can provide this reassurance, according to Luton Today, two-thirds of adults in the East of England do not have an up to date Will!

If you’ve been meaning to put one in place, this is a great opportunity to do so while supporting a vital local charity.

VOLUNTEER BEFRIENDERS NEEDED! Please consider becoming one of our incredible volunteers who provide companionship to our Elderly clients here at Age Concern Luton
We aim to combat loneliness and isolation by providing social support and interaction to those who need it!
So if you would like to make a difference to an older person's life and you have a spare 30 minutes- 1 hour a week please consider volunteering with us!

This week we would like to express our gratitude and thanks to all our volunteers again for their time, support, kindness, and love. We are a volunteer led charity and could not provide many of our services without the help of our selfless volunteers. Whether it is delivering a food parcel, carrying out an assessment, making a phone call or visiting someone in their home, together we have been able to enhance the lives and make a positive impact to the lives of many of the elder members of our community in Luton.

You are not just our volunteers; you are more like friends and family especially for our service users.

By working together, we have been able to make a real difference to our service users and are grateful for each one of you.

Thanking you all from the bottom of our hearts, we couldn’t do it without you all!

Luton Green Watch today, attended an incident involving a faulty electrical charger.⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️

Make sure that all your electrical charges and electrical devices are in good working condition.

Do you not charge them overnight in your bed. This is because they produce heat and could lead to a fire.

Charge your phone in a clear environment, allowing the phone and charger to naturally ventilate.

Any exposed wires or damaged charging cables could cause a fire.🔥🔥🔥🔥

It is recommended that you dispose of them responsibly, and replace them with a new one.
