• Telephone helpline for new welfare enquiries on Monday, Wednesday and Friday
mornings
• Outreach to those wh
o cannot easily access our centre
• Telephone, email and social media information
• Emergency drop in for those have no home, money or are at risk of eviction
• Representation at appeals
• Witness of Irish passport applications
• Information on returning to Ireland
• Support with accessing community and social care services
• Accredited by the Advice Quality Standard including Welfare Benefits Casework and
the Trusted Charity Mark
• Support to Irish Travellers at Bedford HMP
• Weekly social activities including an Internet Cafe, Crafty Cuppa, Tuesday and
Wednesday Clubs, Tea and Chat, Choir, Gentle Exercise, Pipe Band, Baby and Toddler
Group, Music Class, and Art Group
• Befriending Service to older isolated people, and reassurance calls.
• Organisation of Luton St Patrick’s Festival attended by over 7,500 people
• Programme of events at LIF and other venues, the majority of which are free to attend
(including St Brigid's Day afternoon tea, drama performances, cultural seminars and
cross community events)
• Generous leadership to other BAME Communities in Luton
