Our mission is to build cohesion and encourage communities to work in harmony. Through our activities, we encourage people to show tolerance respect and empathy to others particularly people who come from different cultures, ethnicities, religions and areas. We achieve these aims by providing non-formal education and training for young people and professionals who work with young people to fill a

gap. We also deliver bespoke projects focussed around art, music sports or cuisine. Our workshops are interactive and include topics such as Understanding Culture, Diversity and Tolerance, Rights and Responsibilities such as consumer rights and Understanding Stop and Search, Teambuilding, Mentoring, Tackling Bullying and Employability workshops aimed at young people who want to make the move to self-employment. The goal of MFYC is to ensure that young people and members of the community are trained and supported to be part of the solution, learning skills such as project management minute taking and youth leadership to enable them to improve their own communities as well as developing their own life skills.
