📢 **Summer Activity Scheme Consultation – Have Your Say!**

Dear Parents and Carers,

Autism Bedfordshire is inviting parents and carers to share their views on the future of the **Summer Activity Schemes for autistic children and young people**.

These schemes provide valuable opportunities for children and young people to take part in activities, socialise and develop their skills, while also offering essential respite for families.

However, due to decreasing funding, rising costs and increasing demand for places, Autism Bedfordshire would like to hear from families to understand what matters most and help plan for the future.

Accessibility Familiarisation Day – London Luton Airport
London Luton Airport, in partnership with easyJet, is inviting people with physical disabilities or non-visible disabilities to take part in an Accessibility Familiarisation Day on Tuesday 3rd November 2026.

This is a great opportunity for you, or a loved one, to experience the airport journey in a relaxed environment, including check-in, security and boarding an aircraft, without the pressure of catching a flight. The aim is to help you feel more confident and prepared for future air travel.

⏰ Time: 10am–2pm
📍 Location: London Luton Airport

Spaces are limited and attendance will be confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis. A valid passport is required for every visitor.

More training courses for women starting this November!

Following the launch of our New Beginnings project through our Women’s Academy, we're pleased to announce three more courses starting next month:

• Managing Your Household – 4-week course starting Monday 2nd November
• Basic Digital Skills – 4-week course starting Tuesday 3rd November
• Your Future Self – 4-week course starting Thursday 12th November

Supported by an Community Grant, these courses are designed to give women whose lives have been disrupted by experiences of violence or abuse practical skills and greater confidence to manage their home, digital skills and future.

Enrolment is now open, so if you're interested in joining any of these courses, take a look at the options and book your place now!
