Due to retirement we are looking for a cleaner to join our small, friendly team of cleaners.

If you are organised, have an eye for detail and would like to help us keep our surgery clean, safe & welcoming for our patients, staff & visitors, then this is the role for you!

Hours of work; Monday - Friday 06:00 - 08:00 (10hrs/week) + overtime hours to cover sickness and holidays.

Previous infection control cleaning would be an advantage but not essential as all necessary training will be provided.

Salary: to be confirmed at interview

A consultation that will help to shape Shropshire Council’s next Local Plan begins today and people are being encouraged to take part.

All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 of school receive free school meals, known as Universal Free School Meals.

Some children can continue to get Free School Meals from Year 3 right up until they are 18 if they are in full time education. You can claim these Free School Meals if you get one or more of the following:

✅ Universal credit (provided you have an annual net earned income of no more than £7,400, as assessed by earnings from up to three of your most recent assessment periods)
✅ Income support
✅ Income-based jobseeker’s allowance
✅ Income-related employment and support allowance
✅ Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
✅ The guarantee element of pension credit
✅ Child tax credit (provided you’re not also entitled to working tax credit and have an annual gross income of no more than £16,190)
✅ Working tax credit run-on – paid for four weeks after you stop qualifying for working tax credit
