Our next Pub Night at Little Hereford Parish Hall promises to be a cracker!

We’re welcoming Hooked & Cooked with their delicious, freshly cooked fish and chips. And with Valentine’s Day just behind us, we’re calling it our Alternative Valentine’s Pub Night! ❤️

After all, what’s more romantic than sharing great food, a drink or two and a good laugh with friends? 🥰

What a fantastic night we had on Saturday! Despite the wind, rain and thoroughly miserable weather, The Greek Gourmet served up some absolutely amazing food and brought a little Mediterranean sunshine to Little Hereford!

A massive thank you to everyone who braved the elements to join us. The weather might have been dreadful outside, but the atmosphere inside the Parish Hall was as warm and welcoming as ever. ❤️

🧘 SOUNDBATH SESSIONS
Take a break from the hustle and bustle and enjoy some well-deserved relaxation. Our monthly Soundbath sessions start on Wednesday 4th November, 6.45–7.30pm. Just £10 per session.

🌿 YOGA CLASSES
Stretch, strengthen and unwind with Lisa Davies. A six-week course starts Friday 13th November at 11.15am. Beginners and experienced yogis welcome!

🎄 CHRISTMAS WREATH WORKSHOP
Get those creative juices flowing and make something beautiful for your front door! Join us on Thursday 3rd December, 7–8.30pm. Just £5 per person – bring your own greenery and decorations!

Easy pose: the seat that makes stillness simple 🧘‍♀️🌸

Sit tall 🪑 Cross your shins 🦵 Rest your hands on your knees 🤲

You should feel:
🌿 Sitting bones heavy and grounded
✨ Spine long, ribs stacked over hips
🍃 Shoulders soft, jaw unclenched
💨 Breath dropping low into the belly
😌 A calm, steady body

No knee pinching ❌ No hip pain ❌ No slumping or straining ❌

Knees higher than your hips? 🤔 Sit on a folded blanket or cushion.
Knees feel unsupported? 🧱 Tuck a block or pillow under each one.
Ankles or hips fussy? 🔄 Stack the shins loosely or sit on a chair.

Stay for 1 to 3 minutes ⏱️ and switch which shin is in front halfway 💫

As a medical professional and yoga teacher 🩺🧘‍♀️, I always say: if sitting here hurts, change the set-up, not your body.
