We have heard that Father Christmas will be visiting the Bell Field in Luckington on Christmas Eve to hand out some presents to the children.
Naturally, he will also be checking they have been good all year! Unfortunately, Rudolph and the other reindeer will not be with him as they will be resting ahead of a busy night. Father Christmas’ sleigh will be towed by a four-wheel-drive vehicle for this visit.
The Playground Committee will provide some mulled wine for parents and mince pies for all, while awaiting Father Christmas’ arrival which will be at 17:00.
Those parents wishing to ensure their children receive a present, will want to drop off a clearly labelled parcel, that includes forename and surname in bold black writing on a big white label — it needs to be readable in the dark. The presents should be left in the wheelie bin that has tinsel attached at the Old Penny School (house at the top of Church Road next to the Bell Field) from Wednesday 17th December. The wheelie will be located behind the garden gate to the side of the house. There is a small gate right next to the large double gate along the gravel path.
Please ensure presents are dropped off before the 24th.
