Thirty-four members of the 14th Lowestoft Scout Troop have returned from their summer camp at the UK Scout centre.

Our final evening was finished with a birthday cake and our annual 14th Lowestoft Talent Show.

All the scouts have now safely arrived home after multiple delays, diversions and road closures due to accidents.

Finally, a big thank you is needed for all of our adult volunteers who gave their time to make this camp possible! ⛺️

Our final day of activities has now finished, bringing an end to our week at Gilwell Park. Today the scouts took part in Wobbly Pole, Gauntlet, Bouldering and many more.

Camp is fully taken down now with the scouts and leaders ready to sleep under the stars tonight, before heading home tomorrow.

A busy day in London for the troop! We visited the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, The London Eye, Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, St James Park, Downing Street, Horse Guards Parade, Buckingham Palace, stopped for ice cream and finally Trafalgar Square for some shopping!

24,000 steps racked up on Skips fit bit! The scouts were a credit to the group, conversing with members of the public on the tubes and trains as they asked about their scouting adventures!

The day was completed with a rather large order from Dominos Pizza 🍕
