At the annual 14th Lowestoft scout presentation evening parents, scouts and District scout representatives were able to witness over 200 scout challenge and activity badges presented to 25 scouts.
In addition the award for Scout of the Year was presented to Calum Cole, Achiever of the Year to Leo Gibson and Camper of the Year to Jess Nichols.
Four scouts, Calum Cole, Ben Goffin, Clark Houchin and Jess Nichols also received the scout section highest award, the Chief Scout Gold.
This was followed with presentations to leaders Maurice Garrod to mark his retirement after 38.5 years of volunteering in the cub section, Peter Aldous to mark his 40.5 years of volunteering in the scout section and the silver acorn award to Richard Brabben for specially distinguished service to the scout movement with 46 years service. A total of 125 years volunteering service to the 14th Lowestoft Group.
