Heritage Open Days Lowestoft

Heritage Open Days Lowestoft Heritage Open Days is the town's largest annual celebration of our town's history and heritage.

The Lowestoft "hub" was formed to help support and promote activities being presented within our area.

11/12/2025

Friday 12th December marks the anniversary of a Kindertransport arrival at Lowestoft station in 1938 which rescued over 500 children from N**i oppression in Vienna.

To mark the anniversary, in conjunction with the Lowestoft Central Project we are delighted to be hosting another opportunity to view the acclaimed Weiner Library exhibition A Thousand Kisses - Stories of the Kindertransport in the Parcels Office at Lowestoft Railway Station.
