đż Congratulations to Manfred Roscher! đż
Weâre delighted to announce that Manfred Roscher has been selected as this yearâs recipient of the BOA/Peter Seabrook Scholarship, awarded by the Colegrave Seabrook Foundation in partnership with the family of Peter Seabrook and the British Ornamentals Association (BOA).
Manfred is currently undertaking a Crop Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship at Pershore College, which he will complete next year. Alongside his studies, he is gaining valuable hands-on experience at Hillier Nurseries, developing his skills across a wide range of production horticulture practices.
Originally from South Africa, Manfredâs passion for plants and horticulture began at an early age and has continued to flourish throughout his career. His enthusiasm, dedication, and clear commitment to the industry stood out to the trustees, who unanimously agreed he is a highly deserving recipient.
They also recognised that the scholarship will support Manfred in building strong industry connections and making the most of valuable networking opportunities as he progresses in his career.
