Great night had on New Years Eve by everyone who came to the Pop Up Pub!
Massive thank you to Marianne for helping in the bar last night and the clean up today, and to Gordon for supplying technical equipment for the music - both are booked for the first pop up pub of 2025 which is Friday 7th February. Food available will be Chilli and Rice. Credit card payments now taken.

The fridges are all full, disco lights confirmed, pork ready - must be New Years Eve Pop up Pub at the Village hall TONIGHT!!! Doors open 7pm - extended bar open until 12.30 so we can see the new year in together!!!

I am thinking of setting up a knitting and crochet group at the village hall, meeting on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 2.30 for a couple of hours. I thought it would be really nice if the group could knit for charity, I have patterns for a knitted teddy and a crochet blanket from Bag Buddy Foundation who put together bags of essential items for children in emergency accommodation who often have nothing, and I know the local hospitals are often on the look out for premi and newborn hats for babies. The first meeting would be Saturday 18th January at 2.30. if anyone would like a pattern or let me know if you are interested in the group, drop me a message. Jayne Wiltowski

Thank you to everyone who supported the art and craft fayre at the village hall on the 24th November. A total of £205 was raised which has been donated to Macmillan Cancer Services.

As the pulled pork rolls went so well at the winter fayre they will be available again at the pub!
Doors open 7pm

If you would like to make a donation of cake for the refreshment stall or a raffle prize for next weeks event, please either let me know, or bring them along on the morning of the 24th.

There will also be hot pork roles available to buy at the hall from about 12 onwards

Polaris is a traveling bear on the longest journey of his life, on his way to find Mr Hat-In-Burrow. When he arrives on an iceberg in a small village in the North of England, the welcome is not as expected. There are many complicated and comedic adventures as with the help of his sidekick they try to put everything right for Christmas!!
