Looking for a Scout game that combines running, memory, and teamwork? 🃏 Flip Out turns a simple deck of playing cards into a fast relay that works for Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, and Venturers.

Teams race to a set of face-down cards and flip over one card at a time. 🏃 They must find the cards in order from 2 through ace. Wrong card? Flip it back over, remember where it was, and give the next teammate a chance.

That is where teamwork comes in. 🧠 Scouts need to watch carefully, remember card locations, and use what their teammates have learned. One missed card does not end the game. The team simply keeps going.

Flip Out takes only about 10–15 minutes and needs little setup. ⭐ Shorten the card sequence for younger Scouts, increase the distance for older youth, or use fast walking when space is limited.

Thorpe Acre Scouts are looking for additional Beaver Leaders to join our team of volunteers - working with children aged between 6 - 8 years old.

Tuesday Evenings - 6.30pm - 7.30pm

Are you over 18 and ready to make a difference — and have fun while doing it? 🤣

We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our amazing team of Scout Leaders at Thorpe Acre Scout Group. Whether you can offer two hours a week or a bit more, you’ll be helping local young people gain skills, confidence, and unforgettable memories.

📚 No experience needed — full support and training provided
🧭 Help lead games, adventures, campfires and teamwork
🤝 Make new friends and be part of something bigger
💙 Give back to your community in the most rewarding way
