Please join us to celebrate a festival of rugby, music and food with a twist, in aid of The Robbie Anderson Cancer Trust. The vision for Robbie's Rugby Festival and Party on the Pitch is to create an atmospheric, unforgettable, inspiring event that leaves a legacy to remembered by uniting local communities and businesses. SATURDAY - FROM 10AM
Robbie's Rugby Festival - Based around a rugby 10's to

urnament the day offers something for everyone; rugby, Pimms, a children's activities area, and a selection of live music as well as a large traditional BBQ, onsite gift and food market, minis tag, and numerous charitable fundraising activities. The Robbie Anderson Cancer Trust - During Robbie's 15 month battle with a rare form of terminal cancer, age just 12, he created The Robbie Anderson Cancer Trust (RACT). A trust that aims to provide a facility where all children are treated in age appropriate surroundings, demonstrated by the milestone opening of ward 27 at the Leicester Royal Infirmary in February 2013. Cancer is a battle that must be fought on all fronts, the psychological fight is in many ways just as important as the physical care, the RACT recognize this and thus provide home comforts and recreational equipment which are just as essential as the clinical surroundings that patients are treated within. The weekend's events are to be held at:

TOURNAMENT DETAILS
Players must be 18 or over (for insurance purposes) and there should be a minimum of 15 players per team. There will also be a separate social round robin tournament for those teams wishing to play in a more relaxed atmosphere. If you would like to enter a team please contact [email protected]

Spectators will be asked for a donation upon entry. Our aim is to raise vital funds and awareness of our local charities. Please come along, enjoy and give generously! Feel free to invite all your friends and family and please spread the word!! WE VERY MUCH LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU ALL THERE

Yesterday, we hosted the 18th RRF Festival, and what a fabulous day it was. Apologies for the long post but we have a lot of thank yous! Whether you came down and grabbed some raffle tickets, enjoyed a burger, or shared a jug of Pimm’s in the sunshine - THANK YOU. Every single one of you made yesterday unforgettable.

We want to send a massive thank you to our incredible football and rugby teams (it really is a miracle no one got injured 🙌), and to the wonderful referees Leicestershire Referees , physios RE:NU Physio , and medical team who kept everyone safe and moving.

We are still crunching the final numbers and will release our fundraising total later this week. Please know though that your attendance and your generosity will make a massive difference to the Robbie Anderson Cancer Trust, directly supporting the brave teenagers and young children fighting cancer on Ward 27 at the Leicester Royal Infirmary.

This Saturday, we ultimately gather to help make a real difference for young people fighting cancer.

Turn your sound on to watch a moving message straight from one of the incredible nurses on Ward 27 (Children’s & Teenager Cancer Ward) at the Leicester Royal Infirmary. Hearing firsthand how the funds we raise directly provide vital equipment, comforts, and therapeutic care is a powerful reminder of why this weekend matters so much.

Whether you can pop in for a quick hour or stay for the whole day, we would love to see you tomorrow! Every penny raised will go to helping the brave children and teenagers on Ward 27.

We want to say a profound THANK YOU to everyone who has already donated prizes, sponsored, offered products or services, volunteered, or just helped spread the word.

The heart of RRF Festival is, and always will be, our epic Rugby 10s and Football 5-a-side tournaments! 🏉⚽️ After all, rugby is exactly how this event started all those years ago, and we love keeping that tradition alive.

Team RRF is getting so excited to welcome all our players for a fab day out. To be totally honest, locking in teams these days feels like hard work, especially with the crazy weather and the RFU curveballs this week. That is why we are incredibly grateful to every single team who has signed up to support us this year. Best of all, your entry really does help raise vital money for our charity so thank you!

If you are slow off the mark, there is still time for last-minute entries. The more the merrier at RRF, so gather your squad and get involved for a great cause! We provide the energy drinks, the bbq food, the beer, and of course the trophy & medals!
