MindforYou is a specialist travel company providing bespoke travel and holiday experiences solely for people affected by various forms of dementia. We are the only company in the UK and Europe that provides this opportunity and service.
Our clients are individuals and their significant others who aspire to continue to their love of travel and holidays, but for a multitude of reasons feel limited in their ability to do so.
MindforYou offers bespoke, high quality, non-stigmatizing, dignified travel and holiday experiences rarely found in the mainstream holiday and travel sector.
The company was founded in 2015 in response to my personal experience of dementia. My mother was diagnosed with the disease in 2007 and mother-in-law received her diagnosed in 2010. They have since passed however, the impact of caring for both of them and particularly the lack of inclusive holiday provisions impacted on our lifestyles and quality of life to a significant degree.
