Hi,
The answer is our saviour during covid lockdown, the lady who can play accordian in the rain, Fi Maurice-Smith. Do you remember her playing in the bandstand at Queens Park in Lougborough? Gosh, I've tried to dull out memories of covid from my brain but that is a wonderful memory.
Tonight we'll be inside and we won't have to wear masks.
See you in Woodhouse Community Hall in a couple of hours. (£6, cash only)

We've got a nationally acclaimed caller, Lynne Render, and a wonderful cellist, Dave Ledsam, or maybe he'll be playing a double bass or a jew's harp. And he has some amazig musician friends - rumour has it that one of them is quite special, but i should be sure of my facts before mentioning a name.

And there are you beautiful dancers without whom the music will just be for the local horses .

Dance with us tomorrow (Monday). It will be amazing

ROAD CLOSURE!!!
The road between Woodhouse Eaves (Old Bulls Head) to Old Woodhouse (Community Hall) is closed until Wednesday.

So those coming to the hall from Quorn are ok, but anyone that usually comes in from/past Woodhouse Eaves will need to go round, through Woodhouse eaves main street and into Old Woodhouse via School Lane.

Lots of people were there to celebrate the life of Hugh Rippon who was a great ceilidh dance caller. He was in a willow coffin because his favourite dance was the Willow Tree
