David Franklin. Retired architect and local resident who, over the last few years, has produced a range of small graphics and prints relating to St Michael’s Church in Sutton Bonington as well as a few local scenes.
Prints are a range of sizes but generally in 180-250mm square black frames.
Kate Hooper is a painter and print maker, often combining these methods of working to create images. Having graduated in printed textiles, she is instinctively drawn to colour and pattern, bringing these elements to both figurative and still life pieces. Work exhibited in the church:

Douglas Wilson. Studied at Brighton College of Art and The Royal College of Art. I have had a lifelong interest in the visual arts along with a career that spanned publishing and education.
For “Open Doors” I have produced paintings of the local churches notably the porches looking through the open doors to the hidden worlds within. Utilizing a semi impasto technique of watercolour used straight from the tube onto heavyweight watercolour paper which has then been pasted onto board. This gives a textured surface that directly mirrors the enduring quality of the ancient stone walls.
