This year's traditional 9 Lessons and Carols by Candlelight at St Michael's this Sunday 21st at 6.30 pm features an expanded choir led by our new Musical Director and organist. Do join us!

Christmas decorations available in St Michael’s for donations to the new toilet and servery project. Take as many as you want and donate what you can via the QR code on a card in the pews or place cash in the donation slot in the wall next to the door. They are on the table to the left of the main door, the church is open every day.

Sunday 7th December. Christingle Service 4pm St Michael's Church Children will all be given Christingles which are oranges holding candles and decorated with ribbon, dried fruit and sweets. All proceeds in aid of Children's Society Candle shaped collecting tubes can be obtained this week from St Anne's, St Michael's, Beth Clarke or the uniformed services This year's St Michael's tea towels will also be on sale for £10 in aid of FOSM

There are still a few tickets left for Friday’s Barn Dance. If you can’t get to Pasture Lane Stores or Your Community Shop and Post Office to buy one send us a message and we will keep them on the door for you, Adults £10, under 16s £5

It is a bring your own drinks event but do bring some pound coins if you want a turn at the whiskey roll to try to win the fabulous bottle of Scotch in the picture, or to try our wine or water challenge.

Don’t forget to leave some room after your evening meal for a Pud for £1 in the break.

Finally our popular new four seasons tea towels will be on sale, £10 each.

Tickets are selling fast for the Barn Dance on 10th October. If you don’t want to miss out they can be purchased from Your Community Shop and Post Office or Pasture Lane Stores. Tickets cost £10 for adults and £5 for children.

Don’t have too large an evening meal before coming out to dance as puddings will be available to purchase in the break to give you the energy to keep dancing to the end of the event. The Friends of St Michael’s tea towels will be on sale, they have a new ‘seasons of the year’ design.

Many thanks to those who supported last Sunday's church fete which raised just over £3000! This weekend's entertainment is the SB Village Show Please come to the FOSM stand in the village marquee on Sunday and buy your barn dance tickets and the new '4 Seasons' tea towels.
