Today, Mountsorrel Parish Council, together with the Mountsorrel Branch of the Royal British Legion, came together for a special remembrance and commemoration ceremony marking the 100th Anniversary of the Castle Hill War Memorial.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Mountsorrel Memorial Centre (MMC), Mountsorrel Community Team (MCT) and everyone who joined us to commemorate this important occasion. It was wonderful to see the village come together to remember and honour those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
A very special thank you goes to all the young people who bravely read out theMountsorrel Roll of Honour. You all did fabulously well, and we are incredibly proud of you.
It was a truly moving and memorable day, and one that will remain in the hearts of our community for years to come.
Lest we forget 🌺
