Do you recognise this cat?
It has been frequenting a garden in Lochmaben.
As it has been there a while the home owner is now feeding it. We hope that by gaining its trust we can trap it and take it to the vets to check for a microchip.
However, if you know who this cat belongs to pls get in touch via FB.

It breaks our hearts that our lovely tabby girl...Isa...has had no one come forward to adopt her. 😔

She loves people and is always keen to see visitors. She is a real drooler when she is happy!

Isa is not a fan of other cats so must be an "only child".

We would love to find a home for her soon as she has so much love to give.

A few months ago we received a message from Police Scotland that a recently deceased man had left instructions for Eskdale Cats Protection to look after and rehome his cats...Bob and James.

So on a Friday night at 10 pm one of our volunteers arrived at Hawick Police Station to collect Bob. A very friendly black and white wee boy who was taken to our emergency pen.

However, we still needed James and there was concern he would realise his owner wasn't at home and he would wander off.

Over the weekend the Branch advised officers to fix the property's cat flap to prevent James leaving the flat and on Monday at 11 pm young James was finally caught.

Over the next 2.5 hrs James was collected and taken to an emergency pen with food and warmth. Even in the wee small hours we did our utmost to honour the gentleman's wishes.

And the best bit? After vet checks and medication being prescribed for James' hypothyroidism they were rehomed together. As the pics show they have settled in perfectly. Their new mum said they had obviously been very much loved as they are so friendly and content

A very happy ending and a big thank you to Hawick Police for putting up with our calls so we could get the boys to safety ❤️

Now these boys are sooooo photogenic. We've just received a wee write up from their new family.

"We adopted the boys (Simon and Clive) nearly 3 weeks ago and they are just the sweetest wee boys.

They weren’t keen on being touched or picked up initially but now they totally don’t mind and come to you for attention.

They have the loudest little purrs on them.

They are just so beautiful! They love their wee treats every morning.

They are very happy and are very much loved."

We always love to share the "good news" stories and pics when cats have found their new home.

Joshua and Keith were two “Billy-no-mates” until they found themselves unexpectedly thrown together in a Cats Protection pen.

Gradually, they decided that even if nobody else did, they liked each other (provided the other one wasn’t occupying a cat bed that they had their eye on!)

Here they are in their new forever home enjoying a meal together and then a siesta - where there are beds enough for all!

I love this pic as it sums up Rory and Mac. This adorable duo are only 5 months old and came into our care as they were an unexpected litter.

They are so ready to find their special home, share their kooky antics and spend time playing with you and their feathery toys.

Can you offer Pooky a home where she is the star attraction?

This wee girl much prefers human companionship to that of other cats and would like a home where she doesn't have to share the limelight....or her Dreamies...with anyone else!

We cant believe young Joshua is still waiting for his special home.

He is such a gentle-natured and loving little boy.

Joshua was found living rough in Lockerbie and he really appreciates food and the company of humans. He would make a wonderful companion.

Please click on the link for more info. This young man so deserves a loving home... is it yours?
