At Moat Art Group, we enjoy exploring new techniques, experimenting with fresh ideas, and inspiring/learning from one another through creativity. This year we've had great fun working with pastels, watercolours, acrylics, charcoal, glass painting, cross-stitching, decoupage, quick and fun art activities and our ongoing attempts with homemade printing machines.
Some weeks we work around a theme, while on others everyone is free to follow their own creative interests. Whatever your experience level, you'll find a warm welcome, good company, and lots of encouragement.

Looking for a relaxed and welcoming place to enjoy art and creativity?
At Moat Art Group, we explore a variety of artistic ideas and techniques. Some weeks we experiment with different mediums and creative projects, while other weeks you're free to work on your own art and crafts.
🖌️ This week we enjoyed the colourful world of glass painting.
🧵 Next week we'll be stretching ourselves and learning the art of cross-stitching.
Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced artist, you'll find encouragement, inspiration and plenty of friendly conversation.
All you need is a pencil and paper to get started, but feel free to bring along paints, pastels, sketchbooks, knitting, sewing, or any creative project you'd like to work on.

We’ve been continuing our experiments with our small-scale pasta maker printing press – hugely entertaining, creative, and fun! We’re always introducing something different at our friendly and supportive art group, making it a great way to start the week.
