Bookings for The Joy of Christmas Fair 2026 are now open for exhibitors.
Many of you shared thoughtful feedback after last year’s event, and we want to start by saying thank you. We’ve spent a great deal of time reviewing your comments and looking carefully at how we can improve.
Our goal for 2026 is simple: to create an event that works better for everyone involved, with stronger footfall and a better opportunity for exhibitors to make sales.
Here are some of the key improvements we’ve put in place for this year:
Free Entry for Everyone:
We know how important visitor numbers are to your sales. To encourage as many shoppers as possible through the doors, we’ve removed the £5 entrance fee completely. The fair will now be free for the public to attend.
A Bigger Marketing Campaign
We’re significantly increasing our promotion this year, we have a healthy advertising budget thanks to Google Ad Grants, which gives us $10,000 per month in advertising to reach people online. Alongside this, we're expanding the local leaflet drop of 12,000 copies and supporting the event through social media and email campaigns.
A New Date in the Festive Season
The fair has been moved to the 12th & 13th December so it sits right in the heart of the Christmas shopping period, when people are actively looking for gifts and festive experiences.
Reliable WiFi for Payments
We heard your frustrations about WiFi connectivity. This year we’ve arranged a dedicated network at Linden Hall so card machines and digital payments should run much more smoothly throughout the event.

Location: Linden Hall
Dates: Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th December
Stall spaces available across two floors:
Downstairs stalls: £75 per day
Upstairs stalls: £65 per day
We will also be introducing an option for businesses to feature within our advertising this year, and I’ll be sharing more details about this in the coming months.
