There’s nothing like home educating your kids to bring you face to face with your biggest insecurities, self-doubts and ‘what the f was I thinking?’ moments.
And if you try and talk about them to anyone else you just get dismissed, lectured, tolerated or that look that means ‘you chose this, stop complaining’.
Go Build Club has always been a place for parents to feel understood, welcomed and supported, with no judgement or the dreaded unsolicited advice that just makes you feel even smaller when what you really need is the encouragement to rise to this amazing, life-changing challenge that you’re faced with, whether you chose it or were inevitably channeled into it by a failing education system.
So you might not know that Go Build Club is my fun little side project - my main business is coaching. I work with women who are ready to step beyond the humdrum and reconnect with their hopes, dreams and ambitions that got lost along the way.
Maybe now is not the time to rekindle a huge change of career or lifestyle - your hands are more than full right now.

I recently gained my coaching certification, following 8 months of advanced training and 2 months of preliminary training. This is the culmination of over 14 years of peer-to-peer parenting mentoring, autism family support, and of course 11 years of running Go Build Club as a safe place for families to escape the pressure of trying to fit into the usual clubs and classes.
I’ve now been practicing as a coach for 10 months, helping women to level up their lives and start a ripple effect that will leave our parts of our world more positive, exciting, creative, empowered, resilient, joyful and wholehearted.

The successful completion of my advanced coaching training marks the end of a life-changing and very exciting chapter for me... and the start of a new one.
It's no coincidence that I chose a coaching programme called The Impactful Coach. I've never been one to do things half-heartedly. I chose a programme that taught the basics - the essentials that every coach learns on every coaching programme, and then goes waaaaaaaay beyond.
