Just a reminder that we are hosting two Bikeability courses this October half term and there are still places available. Please see the attached poster for further information. If you have/are a young person that is interested and have not completed the relevant course within the last 18 months, parents and carers can book a place via the website at www.littleriders.co.uk/bikeability/ .

The Youth Cafe will be closed next week but will be back at our usual place and time on the 7th October. Other activities and opportunities coming up at Long Stratton Youth Activities include our next Junior Youth Cafe on Tuesday October 20th, 15.30 -17.00 pm. Please see attached poster for more information.

There will also be two Bikeability courses during the October break. There will be a combined Level 1 & 2 course for young people aged 9 - 16 years on Mon 26th and Tues 27th October 10.00 - 15.00, and a combined Level 3 and Fix course for young people aged 11-16 on Wednesday 28th October 10.00 - 15.00. These courses are for young people who have not had the opportunity to undertake the relevant level course previously or within the last couple of years. To register a young person's interest in either course please contact us at the [email protected], stating which course/s the young person is interested in.

Fancy coming rollerskating? Young People aged 11+ are invited to join us for a visit to Long Stratton Leisure Centre next Wednesday from 16.00-17.30 pm. Places are limited and parental consent is required. Please see attached poster for further information.

Tomorrow's Youth Cafe will start and finish at the slightly earlier time of 15.00-16.30 pm to give us time to get cleared up before our Youth Council meeting at 17.00-18.30 pm. For those that are feeling crafty, we will be making the ever popular pom poms, and for those that have energy to burn, we will be playing Tag It. Looking forward to πŸ‘€ you there.

For young people aged 11+ in school years 7 and above, and living or going to school in Long Stratton. If you're interested in being part of a group and having a say on what is happening where you live and/or go to school, you will be very welcome to come along to the Long Stratton Youth Council meeting next Wednesday from 17.00 -18.30 pm. The Youth Cafe drop-in will be open next Wed 12th August from 13.00 - 14.30 pm for young people aged 11+, alongside Bike Active. Come along, catch-up with a natter and some nibbles, and have a go on some of the specially adapted bikes. Just bring your helmet.
