Aitone Collective

🌲🌲Big announcement 🌲🌲

As the seasons are moving into winter and the nights draw in we have made the decision to draw Aitone to a close.

We know repairing and sharing are still very much needed right now and it seems the wrong time to be stopping but this organisation has lost its momentum, so we have decided it’s best for us to stop and leave space for others.

We want to say Thank you to all the volunteers who have given up their time for past events and massive thank you to Isobel for keeping us all going for the last 6 years.
🌳🌻🌍

We’d encourage anyone who wants to take on the mantle in the future to go for it!! This is world changing work. All the best…

Borrowas repair cafe want your old cables!!

After the huge success of our first repair cafe event, we are once again, calling all cable hoarders! 🔌 Our cable amnesty continues on Saturday 11th February 09:30-12:30 at Borrowash Methodist Church.

How many of us have a cable drawer? Those random plugs we can't even remember what they're for. Those headphones we don't use any more. The extension cable that doesn't work anymore. Those random cables that might come in useful one day..........

Pop along to our repair cafe and drop off your old cables. Why not let us help rid yourself of these, get them recycled ♻️ and feel good about keeping it out of landfill.

Great ideas from Nottingham green festival. Long Eaton charity shops have a decent selection of adult and kids costumes- saw loads in barnardo’s yesterday.
