‘Women Unite - stitching for change’
‘NWAPC - National Women’s Action for Positive Change - formed in 2025, a legacy group born out of the National Women Against Pit Closure which formed to support miners in 1984 are producing a 'Ribbon of Resistance'.

It will be a celebration of the wonderful work that women do around the world as they fight for basic rights, support families, take part in protests and strikes and support their communities and take part in local, national and international acts of solidarity.’

If you are at The Big Meeting then look out for the first outing of our banner. It’s not huge but packed with lots of women’s creativity, solidarity, activity and love and of course designed by our wonderful Kiah.
