Sickle cell disease is a common genetic blood disorder — yet it remains misunderstood, under‑diagnosed, and under‑resourced. Too many people face unequal access to screening, specialist care, and proper treatment — creating a clear “survival gap” based on where they live or their background.

At RIYE Sickle Cell Society, we work to change this through:
✅ Raising awareness & ending stigma
✅ Advocating for equal healthcare access
✅ Supporting patients & families
✅ Driving better policies & research

Our Call to Action:
Equity is a right — not a privilege. Every person deserves early diagnosis, dignified pain care, and treatment that lets them live fully.

This special weekend is designed for children living with sickle cell and their families — featuring educational sessions, adventure activities, relaxation, peer support, and a fun-filled Saturday night disco.
