A huge thank you to the London Borough of Redbridge for supporting the Disability Festival in the Park 2026 through NCIL funding.

This funding helped us create a vibrant and inclusive event where disabled people, families, carers, community groups, and local organisations could come together to celebrate disability, diversity, and community spirit.

Your support is helping to create a borough where everyone has the opportunity to participate, connect, and thrive.

Thank you for investing in a more inclusive Redbridge. 🩷

The Thank Yous continue…. And honestly we’re not done yet 💜

Our Disability Festival was an incredible day - and it’s all thanks to the amazing teams, performers, volunteers and professionals who made it happen.

From Councillor Kam Rai and Roopla Mehta opening the festival, to Mountain Events building our best stage yet - along with the rest, to Abby & Helen delivering top‑tier BSL interpreting, to Darbie Veness capturing every joyful moment - you all helped create something truly special.

Thank you to our security team, accessible toilet attendants, caterers, food vendors, St John’s Ambulance volunteers and our magical stilt walkers for keeping the day safe, fun and full of energy.

And to every volunteer, stallholder, supplier and activity provider: your hard work made this festival unforgettable.

We’re grateful. We’re proud. And we can’t wait for next year. 💜

✨Meet the Team Behind the Day ✨

When you arrive at Disability Festival in the Park, you see the performances, activities, workshops, stalls and celebrations. What you don’t always see is the incredible team working behind the scenes to make it all happen.

A special thank you to Sarah, Tom, Kai, Cam and the brilliant team at CMPM and Events & Joy, who have helped transform and elevate the festival over the past two years.

Their creativity, professionalism and dedication have taken the event to another level, and honestly, we couldn’t ever imagine doing it without them now. 💛

What makes them so special isn’t just that they’re brilliant at their jobs. They genuinely care about the festival, our community and every person who attends. They’re the kind of people who go the extra mile without being asked, and they’re an absolute joy to work with.

👏 A huge shout-out too to our fantastic planning team:
💚 Dan (CFDN) - Accessibility Lead
💜 Margaret & Jodie (One Place East) - Bookings & Marketing
🩷 Vince (WEL Enterprises) - Stage Manager
💙 Abbas (Redbridge Council) - Planning & Support

And finally, a heartfelt thank you to our wider Steering Group: Vision Redbridge Culture & Leisure, Colours of Redbridge, Healthwatch Redbridge, Redbridge Forum, Hopeful Futures CIC, Vision Ability and Barkingside Arts.

Each organisation and individual brought their own expertise, resources, ideas and energy to the table. From workshops and arts activities to engagement opportunities and practical support, their contributions helped create the vibrant, inclusive and diverse festival experience enjoyed by thousands of people on the day.

The Disability Festival in the Park is a true partnership effort, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who gives their time, passion and commitment to making it happen.

This festival belongs to the community, and this is the team that helps bring it to life. 💜

Wow. What a day. 💛✨

The Disability Festival 2026 was the best day ever (we may be biased) - our highest turnout yet, and honestly one of the most joyful, colourful, heart‑lifting events we’ve ever had.

So many beautiful moments, so many smiles, so many people coming together to celebrate disability pride, creativity, and community. 💚

Thank you to everyone who came, supported, performed, volunteered, danced, laughed, and made it what it was. You’re the reason this festival keeps growing, keeps shining, and keeps meaning so much to so many. 🌻
