🥰 Laween Saadi, Link Worker and Rehabilitation Assistant, was delighted to present a talk about The Silverlining Brain Injury Charity to the Neuro Therapy Team, part of the Integrated Independence Team (IIT) at Homerton Hospital today. Many thanks for the invitation.

💙 It was lovely to meet the multi-disciplinary team and hear about the excellent care provided at the Trust. We look forward to welcoming your patients into the Charity and enabling them to get involved in our Zoom activities and face-to-face events.

🖼️ We had a lovely art therapy session at the Art Therapy Centre London on Sunday. It was lovely to see everyone! As always, many thanks to the Centre, and to Dr Elisabetta Cittadini and Eugenie for running the session, and of course to James for attending and supporting Silverliners.

As we count down to The Silverlining Brain Injury Charity 20th Anniversary Ball, we’re celebrating the people who make our community what it is — our Silverliners, families, supporters, partners, and professionals who have stood with us over the last two decades.

This event isn’t just a date in the diary.
It’s a moment to come together, reflect on how far we’ve come, and recognise the courage, creativity, and kindness that define The Silverlining.

What an incredible month it has been.
Together, our community has spent 31 days choosing kindness, in small moments, thoughtful gestures, and meaningful actions that have reached far beyond May.

From messages of encouragement to acts of generosity, from supporting others to taking time for yourselves, every single kindness has made a difference.

💛 Thank you to everyone who took part, shared their journey, and helped spread kindness throughout May.
💛 Thank you for raising awareness of life after brain injury and supporting The Silverlining community.
💛 Thank you for showing that kindness really does change everything.
