Shree Swaminarayan Mandir - Kingsbury

Shree Swaminarayan Mandir - Kingsbury Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Kingsbury of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan Inspirator:

The Mandir (temple) in Kingsbury is the principal Mandir in the south of England of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan – the worldwide centre for spiritual, cultural and social welfare, based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. The Organisation was founded by Jeevanpran Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa, the founding Acharya of Shree Swaminarayan Gadi – the divine office of Lord Shree Swaminarayan. While principally a place of worship, the Mandir and surrounding facilities that make up Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Complex play host to a range of cultural, artistic, sporting, educational and charitable activities, all inspired by His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree Purushottampriyadasji Maharaj, the current sovereign of Shree Swaminarayan Gadi. As well as being the reverential leader of many thousands of people around the world, Acharya Swamishree Maharaj is acclaimed as being the "Ultimate Humanitarian" due to the charitable projects that He has instigated. He has inspired the establishment of numerous centres around the world, akin to the Mandir in Kingsbury. The Mandir will be inaugurated during a magnificent festival in August 2014 in the divine presence of Acharya Swamishree Maharaj. Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Kingsbury operates under the auspices of a registered UK charity, Shree Swaminarayan Sidhant Sajivan Mandal London, number 252726.

In this month’s cooking class, students explored the life and teachings of Shree Ramanand Swami, reflecting on His first meeting with Shree Nilkanth Varni and the importance of a true Guru.

The learning continued in the kitchen as students prepared Dal Potli from scratch - making the filling, shaping each potli and cooking them in a sweet, tangy and spicy tuvar dal.

A meaningful session bringing together spiritual learning, Gujarati tradition and practical skills.

What a brilliant weekend at Brent’s first-ever cycling festival! The event was a huge success, wrapping up perfectly with a delicious picnic at Kingsbury Mandir! 🚲🧺✨

Here is how the community celebrated the joy of cycling:

90+ riders took part across 6 led group rides.

16+ people of all ages learned to ride in free cycling lessons.

100+ locals connected to share ideas on boosting cycling in the borough.

Dr. Bike mechanics and cargo bike trials kept families moving all weekend.

A massive congratulations to the festival organisers, volunteers, and marshals who worked so hard to make this milestone community event possible! 🙌

Flood Disaster Relief | Himalayan Regions

In the wake of the devastating floods across the Himalayan regions, our thoughts and prayers remain with all those affected.

With the blessings and guidance of Acharya Swamiji Maharaj, Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Kingsbury is supporting relief efforts through our headquarters in Maninagar, with funds being distributed to those in need.

🙏 We pray to the Supreme Lord Shree Swaminarayan Bhagwan to grant eternal peace to those who have lost their lives, and strength, comfort and protection to all those affected.
