IMI UK/Europe is a national platform through which doctors and allied health professionals network and get involved with projects for the betterment of our community in the UK/Europe and around the world. The Global Scene - IMI is a global medical organisation incorporated in the United States in 1994 and accredited by the United Nations Department of Public Information in 2000. Its membership is
comprised not only of physicians, pharmacists, nurses, scientists and other healthcare professionals, but also of individuals committed to enhancing the medical, social, intellectual and spiritual well-being of communities in need. IMI’s activities range from educational programs, community based clinics, vaccination programs, maternal and child care programs, health missions, disaster relief operations and international health policy work at the UN and similar agencies. IMI has been an active partner in Pulse Polio Immunization Program, Global Tuberculosis Control Programs, Hajj Medical Missions and Disaster Relief Operations during earthquakes, famines and other crises. Thanks to the hard work of our global delegates and IMI Iraq, IMI’s Annual Arbaeen Medical Mission has become a resounding success with 19,000 patients treated for FREE in three weeks.
