We are so pleased to see that Harlesden is receiving a facelift, really I hope this continues. The Harlesden Walk of Music unveiling was a roaring success; we most certainly made history! Now, we progress onto murals in the area as planned. These murals will serve as an inspiration for future generations who walk through this space in Brent. The comments from the community have been great, most certainly made an impact and lifted people’s spirit! Well done STATIC, Brent Council - Grace Nelson (Town Centre Manager) Harlesden Bassline and those who attended the workshop with the artists a few months ago. This mural has certainly made an impact, your input has been great!!

There are two touching tributes in this mural:-

1. The late great mural artist Bunny Bread (Create Not Destroy) who sadly passed away in October 2025. It is heartbreaking because Bunny was initially commissioned to produce this mural to two weeks before he passed away🥲 RIEP Bunny Bread🎖️🕊️🖤🎨💫✨

1. Sadly, the men’s clothing store Avantgarde is closing its doors after 46 years in business. Thank you Diane Diane Johnson for introducing the mural artist to the proprietor George, what a fitting tribute for his legacy to be honoured so greatly and publicly! The font design of his logo is used on the main part of the mural “Many Cultures — One Home”. Such a great honour for this incredible gentleman George💚👑🖤🎖️
