Last week, our very own Sam Latif participated in a panel at the VisAbility 2026 conference hosted by fightforsightuk. The conference focused on three critical areas shaping the future of accessibility and opportunity for the blind and visually impaired, including technology, employment, and health. Way to go, Sam! 👏

We’ve got a jam-packed day planned for our RDH12 Family Conference on June 20, with many presentations by leading experts in the field including Professor Mariya Moosajee of UCL/Moorfields Eye Hospital in the UK, Professor Bart Leroy of Ghent University in Belgium, Professor Tomas Aleman of the University of Pennsylvania in the U.S., Dr. Sally Tucker of Opus Genetics, Dr. Cheng Wang of Innovec, Professor Deniz Dalkara and Dr. Sophie Tran of the Institute de la Vision in France, and Dr. Vitalii Kalynovskyi and Dr. Cecile Mejacasen of UCL in the UK. 🥼👨‍🔬👩‍🔬🔬🧬🧫

Last week, Silvia (aka Vicky’s mum) brought the house down when she presented at the Patients as Partners Europe conference, sharing our journey at Eyes on the Future, transforming from parents and patients to bona fide industry partners in a speech titled “When Patients Lead: A Blueprint for the Future of Personalized Medicine.” 🌟 The audience was so moved that they gave her a standing ovation at the end. 💙 Bravo, Silvia!
