Some more memories from Big B**g Connection London’s very first group picnic. ❤️

No matter how busy life gets, we’ll always find time to pause, laugh, eat, chat and simply enjoy being together.

Because at the end of the day, what’s life without good friends, endless laughter and people who slowly start feeling like home? ❤️

Here’s to the moments beyond the events, the planning, and the madness. The ones that remind us why we started this little community in the first place. 🥂

We work hard. We plan harder. And apparently… we picnic even harder. 😎🧺🥂

Behind every event, every poster, every frantic WhatsApp message and every last-minute jugaad is this slightly chaotic bunch of people who somehow manage to get things done. 😂❤️

So between planning Rang de Basanti, dreaming up Aabahon, coordinating artists, partners, stalls and about 367 other things… we decided it was time to swap the spreadsheets for sunshine, the meetings for munchies, and the deadlines for a proper picnic! 🌞🍗🍹

Because Big B**g Connection London isn't just about putting events together. It's about the friendships, laughter, ridiculous conversations, and memories we make behind the scenes.

Work hard. Picnic harder. Repeat. 🥳

And now… back to work. We have an Independence Day event in a week. 😂🇮🇳

Celebrating freedom also means standing up for the things that matter. 🇮🇳❤️

This Independence Day, we’re proud to welcome our charity and community partners to Rang de Basanti, bringing important causes closer to our community.

🩵Help Counselling
Supporting mental health and wellbeing through accessible, affordable, long-term counselling.

📚 Books for Amnesty Hammersmith
Championing human rights and justice worldwide. We’ll be collecting pre-loved books at the event to support their work.

❤️
Funding lifesaving research into heart and circulatory diseases. Bring along your pre-loved clothes and accessories for our donation drive.

🤝 Aadi Shakti
Our community partner, joining us in celebrating culture, connection and the spirit of togetherness.

Come meet them, learn more about their work, support the donation drives and discover how small actions can make a meaningful difference.

Because freedom isn’t only something we celebrate. It’s something we use to build a stronger, kinder community.

🎤 The Stage Is Set. The Panel Has Arrived.

Every performance deserves a fair and experienced eye.

Our epic Battle of the Bands will be judged by an accomplished panel of industry professionals, each bringing years of experience and a deep appreciation for live music.

From musicality and originality to stage presence and overall performance, they'll be deciding which band walks away with the title.

We're excited and honoured to introduce Indrani Datta, Suha Priyadarshini Chakravorty, and Jaydeep Bhattacharya who'll be taking on the challenge.

With the event just a few days away now..we are very excited. See you all at the event!

Freedom is more than a celebration. It's the responsibility to uplift those around us.

This Independence Day, as we come together for Rang de Basanti, we're also coming together for something bigger than ourselves.

We're proud to launch our Community Donation Drive, supporting the local community through three simple acts of kindness:

📚 Donate books.
👕 Donate clothes and essentials.
🥫 Donate canned, non-perishable food.

At Big B**g Connection London, we're committed to building a stronger, kinder community through meaningful action. Alongside celebrating our culture, we're equally passionate about supporting mental wellbeing, encouraging sustainable living by giving pre-loved items a second life, and creating opportunities for our community to make a real difference together.

Every book shared, every item donated, every food parcel contributed is a reminder that positive change begins with ordinary people choosing to care.

Join us on 15 August at Chiswick Town Hall as we celebrate freedom not only through music, culture and community, but through compassion in action.

For every Bengali living miles away from home, there comes a time of year when something quietly stirs.

The smell of shiuli that isn't really there.
The sound of dhaak you almost hear in your head.
The excitement of new clothes.
Family gatherings.
Late-night addas.
The feeling that, somehow, Pujo always brought everyone home.

This October, we're beginning a new chapter.

Big B**g Connection London proudly presents **AABAHON 2026** — our first-ever Durga Puja, created with one simple dream: to build a space where our community can come together, celebrate our roots, create new memories, and give the next generation a Pujo they can proudly call their own.
