I joined local politics thinking I’d be discussing housing, business, safety, and the future of London…

Next thing I know, I’m seeing posters saying “RUN WITH MO” everywhere 😭🏃‍♂️

At this point even I got confused for a second.

Imagine knocking on doors in Canary Wharf all year just to accidentally become a fitness influencer instead of a councillor 😂

To be fair though… running is actually the perfect preparation for politics in London.

You run between meetings. Run after TfL. Run from online comments. Run through 200 unread emails. And sometimes run purely on caffeine and bad sleep ☕😭

But this is the side people don’t always see.

Behind every campaign, every podcast, every community meeting — there still has to be humour. Because if you can’t laugh a little in London politics, you probably won’t survive it.

One thing I’ll always keep no matter where this journey goes: be real, stay human, and never act like a scripted politician.

Canary Wharf made me tougher. London made me sharper. And the internet made sure nobody takes themselves too seriously 😂

Still here. Still smiling. Still running.

Just maybe not as fast as the other Mo 🫡
