SE20 Art Group SE20 Art Group is a group of artists, living and working in and around Penge, London SE20. What is the group about? Art can be a lonely business.

We meet as artists looking for understanding company, to share ideas and experiences, and to help each other to progress artistically. Whether we are professional artists, commercial artists with an interest in expressing less commercial ideas, or serious amateurs, the confidence that comes with being part of a group can have great benefits. The annual show is a wonderful opportunity to come toge

It's the final weekend of the Penge Art Trail coming up, and there's a lovely cluster of open houses/studios to the South of the High Street.
Four artists at Heather Taylor's in Kent House Rd.
Watercolours at Juanita Grout's (also open Friday evening)
Jan Tozer's botanicals in Victor Rd.
Eileen Jobling's stained glass at a stall in Jenny Going's garden in Kent House Rd.
Have a browse and meet the artists. They will love to see you.

Two seascapes by Neville Bottomley (yes the second one is 3D!), lovely Africa inspired work by Veronica Agwunobi, and a few other artists including some little ones from me (mgs) all showing at the Goldsmiths Arms for the Penge Art Trail, and maybe beyond.
The Goldsmiths has hosted the Art group's work for a couple of years now and we were very pleased when they agreed to take part in the trail. A rock and roll pub if ever there was one!

Planning to visit the Penge Art Trail? why not start at number 1 in Maple Rd?
Coffee at Mabel, 2 Tension Fine Art (see the Penge Bollards on the way), number 3 Yolanta' studio open this weekend only. 4
Home and Happiness upstairs gallery, round the back to 5 Southey Brewing (open from 12), back to the High Street for 6 Living Well charity shop with plaques in aid of the food bank. Another break at 7 Goldsmiths (open from 12) with a group show, and finally 8 Revolution Records.
The Kentwood Centre at 10 opens its doors during the first week Monday to Friday 9 till 4. So impressive last year with student's work.
11,12, 13 and 14 are all artists' studios open both weekends 11 till 4, apart from 12 in Kent House Rd which is second weekend only 11 till 5.
Penge Congregational Church is also planning to open for the second weekend

The Penge Art Trail starts next weekend! Find a leaflet at many venues around the High Street and Maple Rd. There are open studios in Maple Rd, Lennard Rd, Kent House Rd, Sommerville Rd and Alexandra Cottages. Exhibitions at Home and Happiness, Goldsmiths, Tension Fine Art and the Kentwood Centre. Displays of work at Mabel, Southey Brewing, Revolution Records and Living Well charity shop. Penge Shed too.
See leaflet for details and opening hours over the two weekends. Some venues are open all week.

I'm showing some prints and originals upstairs at Home and Happiness along with two photographers, Heather Martin and Chris Gordon-Smith. Open every day except Mondays.
On now untill the end of June, and part of the Penge Art Trail which starts on the 20th. Pick up a leaflet there to discover other venues on the Trail.
