Well done Connors European Scout Trip Fundraiser

Congratulations to Connor from Brompton & Catterick St Anne’s Scout Group on achieving his Chief Scout’s Gold Award, the highest award in the Scout section.

Connor is the first Scout from the Group to earn the award since the pandemic and the merger of the two local Scout Groups, making it a proud milestone during the Group's 75th anniversary year.

Everyone at North Yorkshire Scouts congratulates Connor on this fantastic achievement and wishes him every success as he continues his journey through Scouts.

Huge congratulations to Connor! 🎉

Last week, he took on his second fundraising challenge: the Yorkshire 3 Peaks!

During the climb, there was a moment when he almost had to turn back because of lightning in the valley, but thankfully it passed! The descent from Whernside was no easy feat, yet he pushed through and finished strong, practically running up Ingleborough! What an incredible achievement!

Conquering 26 miles with a whopping 1766 meters of descent! 👏👏
