Urban Reliquary, caught at golden hour inside the Garrison — hundreds of candles flickering against weathered stone, bountiful fruits spilling across the table, fading daylight and firelight moving through a building marked by time. A study in abundance and decay, old architecture and new ritual, finding beauty in what remains.

Walk together for peace this September 🕊️

Join residents from across Greenwich for the Royal Greenwich Multifaith Forum Peace Walk on Sunday 6 September, from 2pm to 4pm.

Open to everyone, whatever your faith, background or beliefs, the walk is a chance to come together, meet new people and celebrate the diversity and community spirit that makes Greenwich such a welcoming borough. ❤️

Starting at St George’s Garrison Church, we’ll walk together through Woolwich, visiting Gurdwara Sahib and General Gordon Square, before finishing at Greenwich Islamic Centre.

Phew! What a week! We would like to say thank you, every single person who walked through the gates of St George's in the last week made a difference to the sustainability and future of the Church, so a huge thank you to every attendee, crafter, performer, entertainer, vendor, service provider and our wonderful volunteers.
