Good luck to everyone receiving their A-level results today. 🤞

Results day can bring excitement, relief, disappointment, uncertainty, or a mixture of all four.

Whatever your results, remember that they are just one moment in your journey. There are many different paths into work, education and training, and your future isn't defined by a single set of grades.

If you know a young person receiving their results today, a little encouragement and reassurance can go a long way. 💚

For support for young people, our partner Kooth offers free online mental health support for 11–18-year-old dependants of current and former bank workers. Find out more - https://eu1.hubs.ly/H0xChcL0

This August, we’re following Action for Happiness's calendar – a gentle reminder that small acts of care can have a big impact. 💚

A smile. A thank you. A quiet check-in. They all matter more than we think.

And don’t forget, kindness isn’t just for others. Make space for yourself this month, too.

For 10 years, she had to wash at the sink.

Not because she wanted to, but because declining health means she could no longer get safely in and out of her bath.

She thought she had no other option.

Until she reached out to Bank Workers Charity.

Because of the generosity of people like you, we were able to fund an accessible bathroom, giving her back something many of us take for granted: the freedom to shower safely, the confidence to live independently, and the dignity she deserved.

Sadly, many more former bank workers are facing challenges like this.

Every day, people across our banking community are struggling with unexpected illness, disability or financial hardship. Let's ensure they have somewhere to turn to.

Your donation today could help someone regain their independence, access vital support, or simply face tomorrow with hope.

It can be easy to get swept up in the hustle and bustle of every day life, forgetting that we need to spend a little time taking care of ourselves too.

But today, on International Self-Care Day, we're here to remind you that self-care isn't selfish – it's essential.

However you spend today, make sure you’re in the picture too. You deserve it. 💚

The summer holidays are here, but many parents and carers are already thinking ahead to September.
The good news?

Two important changes are coming in England that could help with the cost of going back to school.

✅ Fewer branded uniform items – From September, primary schools will only be able to require a maximum of three branded items, while secondary schools will be able to require a maximum of four, helping to keep costs down.

✅ Free school meals – All families receiving Universal Credit will be eligible for free school meals, regardless of household income.

If these changes could apply to you, check your child's school website or latest newsletter to see what their uniform policy will be from September. If you're receiving Universal Credit, speak to your child's school or local authority to find out how to apply for free school meals if you haven't already.
