40+ years. 8 U.S. Presidents. 1 Paul Biya.

From Reagan to Trump (again), America changed leadership 8 times. Cameroon? Still ruled by the same man—now 92 years old.

This isn’t just a timeline. It’s a mirror. A question. A cry.

How long must a nation wait for renewal? How long must youth watch their future rot under recycled power?

Leadership should serve the people—not outlive them.

What’s the point of the African Union if it can’t stand for African people and defend justice?

The AU just congratulated Paul Biya—yes, the 92-year-old who’s ruled Cameroon for over 40 years—on his re-election. Meanwhile, protesters are being arrested, voices silenced, and blood spilled in the streets.

They say they’re “gravely concerned” and call for “dialogue.” But concern without action is just noise. Dialogue without justice is just delay.

We don’t need more empty statements. We need courage. We need accountability. We need an African Union that protects the people—not just the presidents.

Cameroon deserves better. Africa deserves better.
