Making memories at Kenwood House yesterday with our Day Centre clients. We toured the rooms, admiring the paintings, drapes and chandeliers as we went, made the obligatory trip to the gift shop, and ate our packed lunch in the beautiful grounds. Thank you to the staff at Kenwood House for being so accommodating of our group, and to the volunteers for imparting such interesting information about the paintings. We loved hearing about the rivalry between Gainsborough and Reynolds!

As part of our commitment to deliver social impact in Brent, we invited some local sixth formers to visit Elders Voice, and hear from staff about what it's like working for a small charity. They also took park in an intergenerational Zumba Gold session with our dedicated regulars, and enjoyed some ice cream afterwards. It was a boiling hot day, so hats off to everyone for taking part! We love seeing people of different ages dance together. If you are a local school in Brent and would like to take part in an intergenerational activity, please get in touch!

We had great fun hosting another indoor sports day for some local residents. There was a hive of activity going on including games of darts, skittles and foosball, and a sandwich buffet for sustenance! Our own day centre clients also got to take part, and thoroughly enjoyed meeting new people and the change of scene. Thanks for having us!
